Home Entries Awards Judging

The results were announced Monday afternoon, 17 April 2006. Medals (gold, silver, and bronze) are awarded on technical criteria by the Wine Show Judge. They are based on comparison with a technical best wine for the varietal grape, not against each other. For a brief idea of this process, see our "taster's guide". The People's Choice award is made by combining the ratings given by public tasters participating in the class evaluations. The following awards were made:
