STEELS CREEK TENNIS CLUB

Christmas in July 2006

As usual, the pre-eminent Steels Creek social event of the year was a rousing success. Forty-five people congregated at the Lowe's for the Club's annual Mid-Year Christmas Dinner. Thanks to all the ladies and gents who assisted with food preparation. We raised $1080 on the night, including the raffle proceeds. There were numerous prizes donated by club members and local businesses. Prizes for the raffle were donated by Steels Creek Estate, Yileena Park Winery, Brammer Estate, Barbara Dickson, R & C. Tomlins; Greg Leonard, Jim Crynes, Ed Bartosh, Bangay’s Gordon Ridge, Athel Smith and the Houstons, Montells, and the Verhoevens. Our thanks to all these people for their generous support. Also, huge thanks to the Lowes for their hospitality and Jean, Vicky, Lindy, and Gwen for organizing the event and making the night’s festivities work so smoothly.
